You need to be a US resident aged 18+ to join LEGO Insiders in the USA.
Is LEGO Insiders Free?
Yes, LEGO Insiders is free. That’s why I recommend joining LEGO Insiders if you ever plan on shopping from LEGO online or in-store. Since you can also earn points by scanning the LEGO instruction manual no matter where you buy your LEGO, I’d recommend joining in any case.
What Is LEGO Insiders?
LEGO Insiders is the free loyalty program which allows you to earn/redeem Insiders points, unlock member-only discounts/gifts, grant you early access to exclusive sets and more.
You can also use your LEGO Insiders account to track LEGO orders, save product favorites, save payment details and participate in other activities like games and message boards.
Can You Get A Digital LEGO Insiders Card?
Yes, when you sign up to LEGO Insiders online or in-store, you’ll be emailed a link to download your digital LEGO Insiders card. Your digital LEGO Insiders card will be added to your smartphone wallet (e.g. Apple Wallet).
Here’s how to get a digital LEGO Insiders card if you’ve missed the link in your welcome email:
On Mobile > LEGO.com > Yellow Minifigure Head (Account) > Sign In > Explore LEGO Insiders > Digital Member Card > Add
If you don’t have access to your digital Insiders card in-store, you can give your account email to a LEGO Store associate so you don’t miss out on Insiders points.
Earning LEGO Insiders Points
You usually collect 6.5 Insiders points per $1 spent at LEGO.
Purchases are rounded up to the nearest dollar. You won't earn LEGO Insiders points when you buy a LEGO gift card but whoever redeems the gift card will still earn Insiders points when they use it.
Insiders points are added when your payment is processed (when online orders ship or immediately in-store).

Earn 20 LEGO Insiders Points No Matter Where You Get Your LEGO

Can You Earn LEGO Insiders Points At Target?
Yes but you earn Insiders points at a much lower rate and there’s a limit of 1000 points/month. You earn 1 Insiders point per $1 spent on LEGO at Target compared to 6.5 Points/$1 from LEGO directly.
Go to LEGO Insiders > Activities > Upload Target Receipt > Points Added in up to 2 Working Days
Can You Earn LEGO Insiders Points At LEGOLAND?
No, you can’t earn or redeem LEGO Insiders points at LEGOLAND (e.g. LEGOLAND California or LEGOLAND Florida).
Can You Claim LEGO Insiders Points From A Receipt?
Yes but only if you had a LEGO account at the time of purchase. Contact LEGO Customer Service to get points added from a receipt.
How To Check Your LEGO Insiders Point Balance
Go to LEGO.com > Yellow Minifigure Head (Account)
If you add your LEGO Insiders card to your smartphone wallet (e.g. Apple Wallet) your points total will be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the digital card. However, sometimes this takes longer to update than your account.
Can You Send LEGO Insiders Points To Someone Else?
No, LEGO Insiders points can’t be transferred between accounts. However, you can redeem points for a voucher and give that voucher code to someone else.
Redeeming LEGO Insiders Points
Go to LEGO Insiders > Rewards to browse your redemption options.
You can redeem points for LEGO vouchers ($5-$100) which you can use online or in-store. A LEGO Store employee can redeem points for you so you don’t need to get vouchers in advance if you’re shopping in-store.
Vouchers come with a code that you enter at checkout. You can stack multiple at once.
